How it works
- Name the model and select settings: Start by giving your model a name. Then select the desired infill percentage, wall thickness, and layer thickness. See explanations below.
- Choose material: Select the material that best suits your project from the list.
- Upload the STL file: Upload your file. Our system analyzes it immediately and calculates weight and print time. It is important that the file is in the correct scale. Verify that the dimensions shown in the preview are correct.
- See price and add to cart: The price is calculated automatically. When you are satisfied, add to cart and complete the order.
Upload files
Infill percentage is how much material is used internally. The higher the infill percentage, the stronger the product. 10% infill means the model is 90% air inside. This is actually okay for most models. Only use higher values if the part is mechanical and needs to withstand various forces.
Wall thickness is how thick the outer shell is outside the infill percentage, higher values provide greater strength. When it comes to pure strength, it is often smarter with thicker shells than higher infill percentage.
Layer height is how thick each layer the printer lays down is. Lower values result in a finer surface but significantly increase the price. Layer heights of 0.16 mm and 0.12 mm are only recommended for small models. Larger models are commonly printed at 0.2 mm and then sanded and filled to achieve a smooth surface.

How is the price calculated?
The price is based on several factors to give you a fair and accurate cost:
- Material cost: The weight of your model multiplied by the price per gram for the selected material.
- Print time: A small cost per minute the printer spends on your model.
- Startup cost: A fixed sum of 4.40 £ to cover printer preparation and administration.
- Minimum order: For custom orders, there is a minimum price of 0.07 £. If the total price for your uploaded parts is below this, the difference will be added to the cart.
Important about price calculation
- Slow, but accurate: The price calculation can take up to one minute per file. This is due to a detailed analysis (slicing) on the server to give you an immediate and fair price.
- Recommendation: For many files, split them into multiple models with the "New model" button for a faster experience.
